The abu alhoul, was as usual amazing, base of hummous, meat with egg on top and chedder cheese We also enjoyed the arayees, which were perfectly crispy grilled pita pockets filled with juicy minced meat. For the main course, the chicken charcoal was a standout—smoky, moist, and cooked to perfection. We also ordered some classics: the falafel was crispy and fresh, and the chicken shawarma was excellent, with tender, marinated chicken shaved straight from the spit. “ I recently visited Aroos Damascus Restaurant (مطعم عروس دمشق) and honestly, it was such a satisfying experience, I had to write a review. First of all, the portions are generous, especially the fresh salad—they don't hold back. It’s not one of those tiny side dishes; it's a big plate loaded with crisp veggies, fresh herbs, and just the right amount of dressing. You can tell everything is freshly chopped and prepared on the spot. The mutton kebab is a must-try. Juicy, flavorful, and grilled to perfection. It has that perfect smoky aroma, and the meat is tender, not chewy at all. You can taste the spices but it’s not overpowering—just enough to bring out the flavor of the meat. What really brought it all together for me was the hot, fresh khubz (Arabic bread). They bring it straight from the oven to your table, puffed up and steaming. You can tear off a piece and scoop up the salad or wrap it around the kebab—pure comfort food. Service was quick and the staff were friendly, even when the place got busy. The vibe is casual, family-friendly, and feels like a slice of home if you’re into Levantine or Syrian-style food. Definitely coming back again. If you’re craving authentic flavors and solid portions for a fair price, Aroos Damascus is the place to hit. ”
“ Visited today for dinner, absolutely same as we started to visit almost 10 years ago. We ordered many things can see in pictures and i really feel good to describe that all taste same as was 10 years ago. Yes they closed outside sitting possibly due to hot, i believe they will reopen in winter. Keep it up Thanks ”
